Industrial Revolution Begins II

Another very important advantage for me was Flight. I built airports in some cities and in my new cities I had a worker build an airstrip. All that was necessary for me to do now was to transport lots of settlers by ship to another continent and then I would airdrop massive amounts of workers in to build the cities infrastructure, clear the forests, irrigate the land or build mines.
In terms of increasing output I gained Industrialization, The Corporation (which allowed me to build a stock exchange), Refining, and Mass Production. I build factories in my cities and mined coal. This posed a problem after a while because there was a lot of pollution. To try to offset this I studied medicine, which gave me sanitation and hospitals. This helped a little bit but not too much. Eventually I was able to create hydro plants, which provided power without pollution. In terms of enhancing culture I was able to build a great wonder called the Hoover Dam, which gave me culture points and made hydro plants in all my cities on the main continent. I believe the Stock Exchange made my banking more efficient though I’m not completely sure of it. Also Steel was a new secret that allowed me to replace iron. I decided to leave my government as a democracy though I did gain Nationalism, which allowed me to draft citizens into the army and make a mutual protection pact neither of which I used. I would not be able to support and army to protect another civilization and since I was not expanding my military there was no need to draft citizens. All these secrets have strong ties to American History during The Industrial Revolution and the effects are somewhat consistent with real life.
